Even in the early stages, he himself used to go and deliver personal computers on a bicycle.

And this man, who bought the PC business of a big company like IBM, once used to sit in the back line as IBM's agent wearing his father's old suit.

So friends, we know this inspirational journey of Lenovo brand from the beginning.

So friends, the story begins from 1944 when Liu Chuanzhi was born at a place named Zhejiang near Shanghai, China.

After completing his schooling and graduation, he also passed all the exams to become a military pilot, but at the time of recruitment he was rejected saying that he was not fit to work in the military.

After which Liu thought of studying computer related and then he took admission in GDean University. However, the subjects of his graduation were such that he could not find his favorite section here and he had to work from radar studies.

However, he got a good chance to know the computer here.

Later in 1970, he worked in the CAS Academy of Science. But while working there, he was not at all happy with his salary. He used to get only 100 youth every month. And friends, let me tell you that 1 young Indian is equal to about Rs 9.75.

Troubled by his low salary, on 1 November 1984, Liu opened a small company with 10 people and for this he took some funds from his first company. And this company was named "Legend" by Liu.

However, this company had to face a lot of problems for funding in the initial days because the Chinese government had no support for startups in those days.

He tried to import television in this difficult situation but failed in it too.

And then he joined hands in the digital watch market, but his work could not be done.

In fact, nobody in the team of 10 people had much knowledge of business. But learning from the mistakes, Liu and keep moving forward with them.

And then in 1985 Legend developed a circuit board used in computers that he was able to sell to IBM, and this was the first success of Liu's company.

In 1988, Liu Chuanzhi opened another office of his company in Hong Kong and moved there with a total of 5 employees.
Through this company, the Hewlett Packard we know as HP and started distributing Toshiba's computers.

And in order to save money in this work, he along with himself and his colleagues ……… distributed the computers on a cycle, doing more on foot.

And in a similar way, their hard work quickly paid off and Legend became China's largest "computer distribution network".

In 1980, the company started making and selling its own computers under the Legend brand name. And then slowly this company started becoming famous in China.

"It was recorded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1994." And at this time its finance had reached about 30 million US dollars. And the company had already made around 1 million PCs.

In 1997, Legend was recognized as China's "best-selling computer brand" …… even as it surpassed China's market leader IBM.

In 2000, Legend's computer named Tenxi sold more than 1 million units, and this computer became China's best selling computer.

In 2002 the company also started making mobile phones.

And then later in 2003, Liu changed his company name from "Legend Computer Limited" to "Lenvo Group Ltd." to compete with the world famous brand like Dell. And in the same year he spent 200 million youth for his branding.

In 2006, Lenovo made a deal of about $ 1 billion to buy the Windows operating system. Earlier, most computers in China used to mix without OS.

And the identity of Lenovo in India increased when the Tamil Nadu government ordered 1 million laptops in bulk in 2012.

And by 2015, 100 million units of Lenovo laptop's most popular series ThinkPad were sold.

So friends, this was the story of Lenvo brand which was started with 10 people and today more than 60 thousand people work in this company.
And its revenue 2 According to the figures of 016, it is about 43 billion us dollars.

Thank you very much for your valuable time.
